Spring Lacrosse Information

Spring is officially lacrosse season and therefore the program is run quite differently than in the fall.  LTYA Lacrosse is part of the Central Texas Youth Lacrosse Association.  In the spring, players are assigned to a team with a specific coach.  All coaches have high school and college playing experience.  Games will be played against other youth sports organizations in the area such as Westlake, Cedar Park, Town and Country, and West Austin Youth Association. 

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Age Groups/Registration Fees
  • Bantam Players ($150)
    1st and 2nd Grade
  • Lightning Players ($150)
    3rd and 4th Grade
  • Junior Players ($250)
    5th and 6th Grade
  • Senior Players ($250)
    7th and 8th Grade 
Games and Practices
  • Bantam and Lighting will practice once a week and have one game a week.
  • Junior and Senior will practice two days a week and have one game a week.
  • Practices will begin in the middle of February and games will end in mid May.
  • Evaluations for 5th-8th grade will be held February 7th.
  • There will be no games or practices during Spring Break and Easter weekend.
Evaluations
  • Junior and Senior players, 5th-8th grade, will be required to attend an evaluation for team placement which will be held February 7th at HBMS. Exact times TBA.
Equipment Needed For The Season
  • Men’s Lacrosse stick (women’s lacrosse sticks are different)
  • Lacrosse helmet, gloves, shoulder, and arm pads
  • Cleats (football or soccer is fine)
  • Mouthpiece
  • Protective cup (especially on the Junior and Senior level)

Equipment Exchange Message Board
